The AML M6000 Series cordless bar code scanning system brings users the freedom to scan-and roam up to 150 feet away from the base station, without the high cost of integrated RF bar code scanners. Many users can retain and use an existing undecoded, corded laser, CCD or wand bar code scanner for additional savings.

Each M6000 Series cordless bar code scanning system consists of an M6200 / M6300 base station (keyboard wedge or USB interface) and an M6000 portable bar code reader. An undecoded laser, wand, or CCD bar code scanner is connected to the cordless M6000 reader, allowing users to scan and transmit data up to 150 feet from the base station.

Each M6200 / M6300 base station also features a bar code scanner interface, allowing it to function locally as a decoder for laser, CCD or wand bar code readers, in addition to receiving and converting wireless data. Each base station can be configured to allow up to ten M6000 cordless bar code scanner units to be used with each base station.
