AML Offers New Partner Program to Reward

Independent Software Vendors

Stay-Linked Develper eSP Named as Charter Member
of the AML ISV Partner Program

EULESS, TX – July 5, 2005 – AML today announced the launch of the AML Independent Software Vendor (ISV) program, a new partner program that will champion and reward key software partners who collaborate with AML to deliver highly competitive enterprise mobility solutions that extend the market reach of AML wireless devices.

“AML will invest time and resources in its authorized ISV partners,” said Teresa Stone, AML Director of Marketing. “ The AML Independent Software Vendor program will consist of selected software companies with product offerings that deliver value to the AML brand. Participants in the AML ISV program will enjoy significant business and technical benefits, including joint marketing programs, technical training, product testing and engineering support. Our goal is to develop an environment where ISV Partners and AML valued-added-resellers can develop mutually beneficial relationships, with the aim of better serving the needs of our customers.”

To launch the ISV initiative, AML is pleased to announce it has selected eSP’s Stay-Linked software to be its first partner solution. Stay-Linked is the market leader in host-based wireless terminal emulation and the originator of advanced terminal session management (ATSM) for 5250/3270 and VT100/220 host screen applications.

Stay-Link’s innovative Client2Host™ architecture features a natively installed host-based server process that operates in conjunction with ultra-thin wireless device-resident client software to preserve user sessions when temporary disruptions in wireless device-to-host access occur. Users are automatically returned to their original wireless session as soon as wireless access to the host is restored, and to exactly where they were prior to the disruption – the same screen and cursor location. The result is a highly reliable solution for centralized management, configuration and monitoring of wireless user sessions and devices, secure wireless device-to-host communications, and the elimination of dropped/abandoned wireless user sessions.

“Our wireless terminal devices and Stay-Linked software combine for a powerful solution that resellers and integrators can leverage to provide unique value to their customers,” said Teresa Stone, AML’s Director of Marketing. “AML device customers will benefit enormously from the added value that Stay-Linked offers – the increased connection reliability, performance and productivity, plus the overall lower cost of ownership – with its host-centric, thin-client architecture instead of the usual device-side Telnet terminal emulation.”
