The standard edition of RedBeam
Asset Tracking is a complete fixed asset database with the ability to use cabled barcode scanners attached to PC workstations. Keep
asset records up to date and periodically take a physical inventory of assets. Data fields include barcode ID, location, department,
maintenance, purchasing, warranty, lease, deprecation, information technology and 50 other user definable fields.
Barcode
Barcode items of value including computers, printers, equipment, furniture or vehicles. All RedBeam software packages come with a
pack of blank barcode labels that can be printed on your standard laser printer, or you can print to any barcode label printer that
uses Windows drivers.
Scan
Print a report of bar coded count sheets that allow you to take
periodic inventories of your fixed assets. Go from location to location and mark the count sheets with each asset found.
Use a barcode scanner to update asset data or to take a physical inventory. Scanning is ideal for audit inventories, updating IT
information and receiving.
Track
Using a cabled barcode scanner, scan the data (or manually enter data)
from the count sheets to update the location of your fixed assets and report on found and unfound items.
Generate useful asset reports and print or export to Microsoft® Excel. Report on located and missing items, asset status, asset
history, asset value, depreciation, purchasing, maintenance history, lease and warranty expiration, IT information and more!
RedBeam Asset Tracking supports Windows XP, Server 2003 and Vista.
